The Wheelchair Football Association Academy is the official learning platform of the WFA. We exist to raise the standard of the game by equipping every person involved — from grassroots to elite — with the knowledge and skills to succeed.

Welcome to the WFA Assistant Referee Online Course. This course is designed to introduce and develop the knowledge and skills required to support powerchair football matches as an assistant referee at both regional and national league levels. Through a series of sections based on the Laws of the Game, you will learn about the key responsibilities of the role, supported by video examples from real match situations. After completing the course material, you will take a short test based on the content covered. Once submitted, the WFA will review your results and inform you whether you have passed.
